Pain Relief Questions from Miami Clients
Does TheraMax in Miami take insurance?
We're a cash-pay office. We don't work with insurance providers because they limit the amount and type of care we can provide. We accept cash, credit cards, HSA, and FSA.
What if my ailment isn't listed here?
This list isn't exhaustive and covers many of the common ailments that lead clients to seek new forms of therapy. We don't treat conditions specifically, only the muscular tension associated with them. Many clients find lasting relief when that tension is addressed. If you're dealing with pain or mobility problems, give us a call. We'll tell you honestly whether we think we'd be the right fit for you or not.
I'm not sure what's causing my pain - can you help figure it out?
We don't diagnose medical conditions, but we can work on muscular tension in areas that might be contributing to your pain. A doctor's diagnosis helps, but many clients come in unsure of what's causing their issues. If we find something outside our scope, we'll point you in the right direction.
What should I expect at my first visit?
Your first session is a one-hour Trial Session. About 15 minutes talking through your situation/history and 45 minutes of therapy. It's a chance to experience the treatment and get to know your therapist before committing to more sessions. Most clients wear their normal clothes and come on their way to or from work.
Do you work with South Florida residents who've had surgery?
Yes. Many clients come to us after surgery when pain persists or mobility hasn't fully returned. You'll want to confirm with your doctor that you're far enough along in recovery to receive manual therapy. We also see clients before surgery who want to address muscular tension first and give themselves the best chance of a successful outcome.
