About Cassandra

Cassandra's passion for physical therapy began with a deep fascination with how the human body moves and heals. Her academic foundation in Human Anatomy and Human Physiology at the University of North Florida gave her an intricate understanding of the musculoskeletal system, and this knowledge directly informs every treatment she provides. This specialized background allows her to implement targeted therapy interventions that address the root causes of pain and dysfunction. At TheraMax, she combines this anatomical expertise with cutting-edge robotic muscular therapy technology, delivering precisely targeted treatments that help patients overcome chronic conditions like carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow, and sciatica. Her approach is both evidence-based and deeply personal, ensuring each patient receives care tailored to their unique recovery goals.

Before entering the physical therapy field, Cassandra was recognized with the President's Cup at the College of Southern Maryland, the institution's highest honor for student leadership. This award, given for "unwavering dedication, steadfast commitment, and the ability to motivate others," reflects the same qualities she brings to patient care today. With hundreds of successful treatment sessions at TheraMax Miami, Cassandra has helped patients progress through their rehabilitation and return to the activities they love. Her expertise in robotic muscular therapy, combined with therapeutic exercises and manual techniques, supports patients in reducing pain, improving mobility, and achieving their functional goals. Patients consistently describe her as thorough, motivating, and genuinely invested in their long-term recovery.

Cassandra's treatment philosophy centers on patient education and active participation in recovery. She believes patients progress faster and more completely when they understand their condition and take an active role in their rehabilitation. During every session, she takes time to explain the therapy techniques being used: which muscles are being targeted, why certain interventions are chosen, and how robotic therapy delivers precise, consistent pressure to achieve optimal results. She also guides patients through therapeutic exercises and self-care strategies they can use between sessions. Her goal is helping patients achieve lasting functional improvement and return to their daily activities. When she's not treating patients, Cassandra stays current with the latest evidence-based physical therapy techniques.
